A Road Captain is entrusted with the lives of the group they watch over. They are also the "Face of the Chapter," especially for new members. Many people will forget who they meet on rides, and maybe even forget the rides they're on. However none forget the people who got them there safely. 

Voluntering to become a Road Captain is a responsibility that shows you're willing to go the extra mile and to make everyone's safety a top priority.  Road Captains ensure that the Chapter is able to provide it's members with safe and fun rides all season long. 

Every Road Captain must qualify before applying.  You must be a member for at least 1  year, taken and passed the Advanced Riders Course (given by the N.Y. State Motorcycle Foundation) and complete a course in First Aid.  In addition.....
