Q. Can some of my friends join the Chapter?
A. Yes, as long as they meet the qualifications. They must own a Harley and be a member of the National H.O.G. Association. Other motorcycle brands are excluded.

Q. Can I be a member of more than one H.O.G. Chapter?
A. Yes.

Q. What is the relationship of Lighthouse H.O.G. to other Chapters on Long Island?
A. We are a separate Chapter sponsored by Lighthouse Harley-Davidson. The other Chapters are sponsored by different dealerships. Other than having the same objectives, there is no affiliation.

Q. Where will the rides begin and end?
A. Most rides will begin at Lighthouse H-D or the Nathan Hale VFW Club. Rides usually end at our destination, but sometimes (when we go out of state) we end upon return to the Island. We usually plan on something to do at or near our destinations (lunch or whatever).

Q. When and where are the Chapter meetings?
A. We meet the 4th Sunday of each month. The location is:

Direction from Lighthouse H-D: Head west on Jericho Turnpike. When you get to NY Ave (Route 110), turn right. Head North until you get to Pulaski Road (approximately 1 mile) and then turn left. Cross over RR tracks and VFW Hall is on the left. We have coffee and donuts to wake you up. Charge is $3.00 per person (Effective July 23rd, 2006) which helps cover the cost of the hall rental.

Q. How do I get more information about the Chapter or upcoming rides?
A. You may contact the Chapter Director, Catherine Grabowski or the Membership Officer, Rose Davidson . In addition, you may call the H.O.G. hotline by dialing the dealership at 631-427-0382 (extension 7).

Q. How much is it to join?
A. Membership will cost you $24per year. Your spouse or significant other can join and be part of this club for $15 per year providing they are also a National H.O.G. member. If you’re interested, fill out the application and bring it with you to the next meeting or ride. You may also take it to the dealership and drop it in the Chapter mailbox located on the wall just outside the Chapter office on the sales floor. We also have office hours of 1 hour before each ride that leaves the dealership. Last option is to mail it to the address below.
